At the moment I mainly sell my products on eBay, which can be quite restricting considering the kind of items I have to offer. I have recently been asked to do a number of custom orders, which I love to do, but it has got me thinking.

Based on the way eBay charges me as a seller I am quite limited in the way I can sell my products. They impose a minimum price, and take quite a high percentage of the money. Combine that with the extremely high fees Paypal charges and it leaves very little left for me.

I have been trying to think of ways to offer my products away from eBay. As I said, these custom orders got me thinking. On eBay I can only sell things at a minimum price of 99p, which means I have to offer die cut shapes in packs of multiples, which a lot of customers don’t really want. If you’re doing a special project and need something particular then you don’t want to have to buy 10x or 20x of the same thing because you won’t use them and it’s a waste of your money .. and let’s face it, we all have less of that at the moment!!

I have been thinking about setting up a new online shop, away from eBay, and offering die cut shapes individually. I have a huge range of die cutters available which is expanding all the time. I would be able to offer a wide variety of shapes and designs, and would charge for each shape accordingly so you can buy only the items you need for your projects … there would be no waste, you save money, and the die cuts are exactly what you need.

Please let me know any thoughts you have.

Apologies for the delay since our last post. We have been very busy testing our new dies and uploading new listings to eBay. I have now added new photo’s of some of the new die cut shapes we have available, and I will be adding more very soon :)

We have just purchased loads of new dies in order to expand out range, including a huge range of dress up dolls, dinosaurs, and robots, to name but a few . We are currently having a play and creating lots of new themed sets. We’ll get some new photo’s uploaded as soon as possible, and more listings on eBay.

We are also working on a catalogue of all the die cuts available. This will then be available upon request.

Party Bag Ideas

In the past we have done quite a few party bag packs .. mainly for friends and family. They have always gone down well with the children so we were thinking of introducing them as a new product range.

We would provide a pack of crafting goodies which will include items such as card, paper, die cuts, stamped images or stickers that you can simply pop into your party bag along with your sweets and balloons for a ready made bag that kids will love!

To begin with we will only introduce a couple of themes for boys and girls to see what people think. Of course, we realise that arranging a party can be extremely expensive so we will keep the costs down as much as possible.

Die Cut Shapes

We have been working hard recently to get this new site exactly the way we want it. It’s pretty much done now, and we’ve been very busy uploading eBay listings.

We have also been increasing our range of die cut shapes in the last couple of weeks. We have uploaded some new photo’s today, and will get some more done in the next few days.

We’ve had a few custom orders lately. We are more than happy to make up the die cuts to match your requirements .. plus it keeps us out of mischief :) Take a look at our eBay shop - If there are any die cuts you see that you would like done in a different colour/design, or different quantities, please get in touch with us and we will try our best to help.

Please feel free to let us know if there are any specific shapes or themes you would like us to stock in the future as we are always looking to expand our range.

Welcome to Nutty Crafts. I am in the process of creating my new site, and I hope you like it! I am also expanding my product range, and uploading lots of pictures to Flickr for you to see.
